And relax . . .

This week has not been such a “tranquilo” one for me! I’ve been kept busy with client work and also overseeing having a new kitchen fitted. It’s now gone 5.00pm (well, in the UK anyway) and that’s me finished for the week. It’s now time to get outside in the sunshine for a walk and decompress a wee bit.

I think I more than deserve a glass of wine tonight - so cheers to you all, and I hope you all have a lovely weekend, wherever you are! 🍷

As a designer I always end up spending waaaay too

As a designer I always end up spending waaaay too much time sitting in front of a computer, so sometimes, I like to take things a wee bit more slowly . . .

I’ve always loved doing and making things with my hands - it’s something which I have inherited from my Granny Beaton - she always had some sort of creative project at hand. As a child, I always admired her handwriting - it was so beautiful and graceful. She would have been taught cursive handwriting at school, and it inspired me to try my hand at some modern calligraphy.  There’s still a long way to go, but as they say, practice makes perfect, but I’m curious, what do you do when you want to take things more slowly?
