As the temperature begins to soar, the sun bleaches the colour from the landscape around us. Everything takes on a softer, more muted colour palette evoking a sense of calm and aspiration . . .

I love this image that I captured five years ago today. It was one of the first days after the de-escalation of lockdown in Mallorca, when we were allowed a wee bit more “freedom” to go about our daily business – albeit within a restricted time slot depending upon your age group! (Our time slot was 8.00pm - 10.00pm, which was perfect, as it was during the golden hour.)
